2024-25 PITTSTON AREA ELEMENTARY WRESTLING SEASON!

Online Registration is now open to all kids Kindergarten through 6th Grade.

Everyone must sign up Online by Tuesday October 22nd.

Cost $65 

$35 per additional wrestlers in the same household. .

We will have our first practice for all wrestlers on Thursday October 24th from

6:30-8pm. 

We will have a mandatory Parents meeting on 10/24 to discuss the upcoming season at 6pm!! Coaches will be available to answer any questions. All wrestlers will be weighed in. 

Singlet: Same as in previous years. If you have one and it fits, you do NOT need to purchase a new one For those that are new or need a replacement, its $50.00 per wrestler. You will order your new singlet and register online at the same time. You must wear a Pittston Area issued singlet, which is yours to keep for all matches. Any old singlet’s that do not fit can be handed back in.  We are also accepting old wrestling shoes that do not fit. Please give to a coach at any practice. They help some of our less fortunate wrestlers. We appreciate any and all donations.

Fundraisers/Volunteers: Fundraisers will be held throughout the entire season. Volunteers will be needed to help run our various elementary events and staff our concession stand and tables during home meets and tournaments. ALL PARENTS are required to help out. Many hands make light work. More info will be made available to all parents throughout the season.  

***Once again the Booster club will reimburse parents $15 per tournament that we enter as a team. That money will be given back at the end of the season. EACH Parent is responsible to volunteer at least 2x throughout the season as well as provide a drink donation at the beginning of the year. Those parents that do not volunteer or donate will forfeit their reimbursement, We appreciate any and all help during the season!!

YEAR END PARTIES: AS ALWAYS, WE WILL HAVE A YEAR END PIZZA PARTY AS WELL AS A NOVA BOUNCE PARTY FOR THE TEAM. THIS IS IN ADDITION TO THE BANQUET. COST FOR THE WRESTLERS IS COVERED BY THE BOOSTER CLUB. DATES TBD!

Practice Attire: Shorts/sweats, t-shirts and socks. Please no zippers, buttons or belts. Street shoes are NOT permitted on the wrestling mat. Wrestling shoes, headgear, and Pittston Area Issued singlet are required for Penn-League matches. All old shoes, singlets and headgear can be handed back in.
